Hope you all had a good Christmas. I bought my daughters boyfriend a towelling robe, and Ferrari badge, got out my sewing machine to sew it on the back, and shock horror, the metal bobbin case is missing, looked all through cupboard cannot find it, got loads of stuff to sew. I havent seen it since we bought new wardrobes in May and it changed homes.
Warm thoughts to Punkdoc and Moira - sorry to hear you have had a set-back. Hard times always seem worse at Christmas, but don't let that get the better of you folks.
Never forget that gardeners have super powers... give us a seed and we can end up with a bunch of flowers, a plate of food, an oasis to enjoy or a habitat for other creatures - amazing stuff!
Keep positive, strong and healthy everyone. Extra shout-out to all those back to work tomorrow (probably just me?!)
Sounds like hard work. Two of ours have seen a lot of the vet lately - junior kitty for an infected paw pad and only 7 weeks of twice daily dressing and home made socks to heal and then Rasta doggy had an argument with a coypu and several holes in her face, now shaved and healing. I hope your patients appreciate you.
I still have all my bulbs to plant cos it's been too dry but we've had 33.6mm today so maybe, next week, I'll have time and the right conditions to plant them.

Evening all. Lovely to keep up with people’s news. I hope Punkdoc‘s heart improves soon. Very worrying for them both. Joyce, my thoughts will be with you. Hosta, take it easy with the mulch spreading for a while. Lovely surprise to see Steve for a brief hello.
Hello Pat. It was nice to see the photo of your Christmas spread - interesting to see how people celebrate in different situations. I couldn't imagine Christmas in the summer... and no doubt you'd find it hard to come to terms with eating our hot, heavy Christmas pud etc...
The granddaughters are arriving tomorrow. I think we're ready!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Hello folks ... we're home. Sorry to hear some of you have had a less than perfect Christmas ... ((special hugs)) to Pdoc and Moira ... Hope there's some more positive news soon. ((hugs)) too to Hosta and his Lovely Hubby ... and more ((hugs)) to any who need them.
Weve had a lovely Christmas, although not without incident ... but I'll tell you all about of tomorrow ... sweet dreams all

Thank you, Moira. Glad he's feeling better. We do worry about him, we are all real people behind the messages.

Just popping by briefly to wish all best wishes of the mid winter festival, in whatever way you celebrate it.
Good to see you Steve. Hope all is well with you and your hubby.
We are good thanks, I'm still working seven days most weeks unless I have cover. Finally managed to get my bulbs in pots on xmas eve...
