    home now.

Only 6 deliveries ( including going back to one because something was missing)

I was just leaving a customer and heading back to the van when the most almighty hail shower started, with such force it set off car alarms.

We are off to Bonnie Scotland for the weekend, just North of St Andrews. We know there is no snow there or here, its the bit in the middle I'm worried about. Presents wrapped. Flasks ready to be filled, snow shovel ready for boot. I guess I will be be able to test the thermals I bought for the Arctic expedition in January.

Clear sky here at the moment. We may be able to see the Geminid meteor shower tonight.

Don't forget chocolate, water and a blanket, just in case.   Have a safe trip and a great time.

More lovely rain here but only in squally showers.  They're promising a downpour between 7 and 10 pm so no meteor showers for us.

Feeling virtuous now cos I've sewn the second curtain and it just needs a good strong steam iron before I can hang it but we've run out of distilled water so it'll have to wait till tomorrow now.   Dancing this evening so foot preening now.

We're doing a cheese board,(in laws family get together weekend )so there will be lots to snack on should we get stuck, not to mention the huge christmas box of chocs from Hotel Chocolat, and some alcoholic refreshments. I have a new down filled parka for my chrissy present and Yaktrax to try out if it gets bad.

  • Whoops!   But if you keep getting asked for ID when you buy a bottle of wine how can you possibly be old enough to have a husband image
