    Hi all.

Lots of snow here, our road is blocked, Council don't grit it, consider it a minor road.

Like the idea of a book thread, but not quite sure how we would do it, accounting for our differing tastes etc.

Hope you feel better soon Hosta.

Just start a GW book club thread - mention a good book you've read - or a really bad one - and see who agrees and what else they recommend or suggest avoiding.   Might get some good tips from forum members who don't read this thread.   Good winter topic too.

    See original post

Could well be lorries in that area ... close to the main road to the ferry terminals to Europe ... plus car drivers un-used and ill-prepared for driving on snow.

We went to the Eden Project Light and Sound festival last night, it was lovely, really enjoyed it, lovely folk group live music, good evening all round, especially the coffee and cake afterwards.

The videos are not perfect and they don’t do it justice but you can get the idea. You need your sound on.
