Whoops! Joyce ((hugs)). Thank goodness for databases I've got automatic renewal on mine so that, in the event of me overlooking it the company I'm currently with will renew it automatically. As I pay by DD quarterly it doesn't make too huge a dent in my current account should my eye be off the ball. It doesn't stop me shopping around for a better deal if I've got the brain space.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Went and collected daughter 2's horse, Radia, from the equestrian place this morning. She is looking much slimmer, it was obvious she was depressed being in a stable though they did put her outside for a bit each day. Took a few attempts getting her in the trailer and I got a bit of a rope burn, I wasn't even really holding the rope, it just slithered across my thumb. But she didn't sweat at all on the journey, last time she was soaked, so she must have thought she was going home! She was very surprised to see the cows in the field next door to daughter's, but quite cool about meeting Lena again. I thought they would be more excited, but they just went off calmly together to graze, then came back together for hay. Lena is wearing the rug.
We had lunch with the family, 2 grandchildren, and came home just before dusk so I could pick greenery from the garden. I've done 2 bouquets with silk poinsettias in them for the Carol Service tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I am utterly cream crackered with aches all over. Much furniture and contents moved, cleaned, oiled, contents cleaned and shuffled............. Canines and felines wondering what's going on and getting underfoot but no mishaps.
Too tired to cook so simple filled pasta and now curled up on the sofa with SCD and a glass of wine.
Pleased to read you are now legal Joyce!
Looks like we need a book thread.

HI everyone. It’s too hot to work outside today, so digging through inside things for interest.
Busyl, I’m enclosing a couple of bits about Hypericum that you might find interesting. Yes, I know I misremembered the species name yesterday, but my excuse is I’m old.
Oh dear Just looked out the window Think we might not be driving home from Birmingham any time soon .....
Or driving anywhere for that matter. Mr C has just been down to our Premier Inn reception desk and booked us in for tonight too as a precaution. Theres been a good dumping of snow overnight.

Hello everybody , busy day helping at Lincoln Cathedral for the Lincoln Christmas Market

Morning all.
My cold has gone into overdrive. I've got a hacking cough , runny nose, sneezes. The full works.
It's blowing a pretty severe gale out there and the rain has been pounding the windows since I woke at 4am.
To say I'm not looking forward to working to day is something of an understatement.
