Another glorious day here ( sorry Punkdoc ) we had our sundowner walk along the beach. Only just made it as Hubby was a wee big hungover from last night. He's a bit out the game of keeping up with drinkers.
2 more full days to go then back to Blighty.
Pat, we watched that documentary where they moved the research station on massive sledges. Was that the one you saw? Fascinating indeed.
Lovely wreaths and posies, Auntie Rach. You have a talented friend, Joyce.
We had a good day in Norwich. Went to the Rembrandt exhibition in the Castle, then a delicious lunch at Côte, a French style brasserie, then I bought a long sleeved nightie in M&S then we went to the theatre to see "How the Other Half Loves, by Alan Ayckbourn which was very funny.
Yes, Dove, we did take the "Park and Ride", so convenient.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
OH is happy this evening because he managed to get upstairs to the loo largely on his feet, instead of bottom & knees. Progress is being made at last!
He is also happy because "his" football team (Bradford City) won their FA Cup match this afternoon. I'm just amused that two of the goals were scored by Vincelot and Knight-Percival, who I feel should have been wearing chain mail and wielding halberds, with names like that.
Lovely Iona notelet, Joyce.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I like your afternoon's handiwork AunyR
Clari- that's a bit mean of people not even to fork out for a raffle ticket.
A friend got 50 packs of 5 notelets printed off, from one of her paintings, for a Christmas charity fair and sold them all @£3.50 a pack.
This is one of the notelets .......A view from Iona.
Evening all.

Hello
Just had a great family dinner for 8 in Swindon
Hosta, it sounds the same doco. Good wasn’t it.
id be getting a downstairs loo, Liri.
Lovely painting Joyce. I’m hopeless at landscapes. Get the perspective all wrong. I’m better at small detailed things.
hello to all I missed.
No room for a downstairs loo, sadly, Pat. We know we'll have to move to a more sensible house - maybe sooner rather than later.
Rain Photos.
No. 1 dam overflowing
River spreading across the gravel beds plus our wet driveway
