I can not tell you how excited I am to see them both.

    Devon.
  • Is it my imagination or is it noticeably lighter right now than it has been at this time in the afternoon for the last little while?

  • Hello all.  image

Just resurfaced following the grandchildren's visit... must be getting old, they tire me out!  The little one (3 and a half) never stops unless she's asleep, bless her.

I don't think it's your imagination, Dove.  Roll on Spring!  image

Congratulations to Mrs Steephill on the OBE!  And to LG for those exam results.  Great stuff.

Our snow came and went while the visitors were here; not a lot of it but enough to make the obligatory snowman.  Unfortunately melting snow causes the worst drips in the spare room ceiling... daughter and SIL spent last night with a sheet of plastic over their feet.  image  I'm itching to ring the roofer but I'll have to leave it a day or two after the new year, cos I suspect that trying to mend a roof whilst nursing a hangover is a recipe for disaster!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Hi folks, remember me?

I am home. 24 hours late, as snow was too bad for Moira to collect me yesterday.

Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, indulging to excess, in every way.

I don't feel too bad, but have not slept properly for over a week whilst incarcerated, so if you will excuse me, I am off to bed.

    Hope to speak soon.

I concur with Chicky. There's nothing better than one's own bed when feeling poorly.

I've just walked round the garden with Hubby , outlining my plans . At one point he said " Oh, is this the end of the garden?"

6 years ago last week we moved here and it's only the second time he's gone "to the end" image
