Nanny Beach - Fox poo ? on dogs ? , don’t have a dog but b-in- law does a border collier and she is for ever managing to find Fox poo , you can buy something from pet shops called “Poo Off “ which sort of dissolves it so you need to wear rubber gloves ?
Been Christmas shopping in Lincoln with o/h today , gone surprisingly well , of to Meadow Hall next week , near Sheffield a very large indoor place , at least it is under cover , lots of coffee stops and a restaurants
I've spoken to Wonky ... she's recovered and back and work and thanks everyone for their kind wishes. She does look in here but doesn't post often in order to avoid damaging her carpel tunnels.
She had a really nice day today ... the sun shone and she was pumping out the formal pool, netting goldfish, sorting out water lilies etc and tomorrow she'll be power washing the lovely tiled bottom of the pool.
Our paella was wonderful, even if I do say so myself ... and I'm afraid we made real piggies of ourselves ... there's none left for you lot ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
mechanic got served, a full night's sleep, dog versus fox poo, brekky in bed, homemade bread, seafood supper and many more tales (could be book chapters?!)
My Dad just txt "my landline phone is making a beeping sound"...
I immediately guessed that "bet it's not in the 'holster' properly" ...
yes! And thank you Peter Kay for that gem that I have used many times, nearly as much as "it's spitting - everybody in!"
Oops - used the slang of the 'yoof' I work with there - it means to lose at something, particularly by way of a one-upmanship (perhaps I'll stick to more age-appropriate language for me!)
Clari, you've been attacked on two fronts ... not only has your OH got a really bad cold, but Wonky's been off work with a heavy cold and fever too ... you didn't stand much chance of avoiding it

Wonky, if you're looking in, hope you feel better soon
Clari, can you move to another bed or sofa to reduce the risk of the cold being passed on?
Put Reggie in the middle of the bed
