Have a fantastic time Chicky image

A strong breeze here and pink fluffy clouds across the whole sky. Visiting son this morning to with some home made ready meals for his freezer.

I think I'll come home via Southwold harbour and pick up some fresh fish.

    Morning all

very wet during the night but looks quite bright this morning

heading towards Joyce's area today, we have a nice day ahead, wine tasting then a smart lunch with cousins not seen for ages.

Hope you have been to the SM Punk, you usually cook something special on Fridays. What is it to be tonight. Mrs P will be delighted to see you look after her.

Got the greenhouse finally cleared yesterday. Compost bin now full!

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

Not quite in the air yet Pat, but our journey of planes, trains and automobiles has begun (minus the trains)

Greetings everyone. Plenty of people on journeys, trips or holidays today - take it easy and enjoy.

The forecast for the weekend is split in two with heavy rain Saturday and clear and sunny on Sunday here. I have a few small tidying jobs left to do in the garden, although I am in the 'leave the spent foliage for the wildlife' camp so the borders are mainly left as they are. I remember my Granny used to clear everything by November - the beds were completely bare except for a few pruned rose bushes. I am lucky that I have an abundance of evergreen shrubs so even in Winter the garden looks green.

I notice there is a frenzy about all the Crimbo adverts for the big stores - when did that become such a big deal? How much do they spend on those? Wonder what my bedtime-phobic neiece will make of the monster-under-the-bed one??!

My garden and I live in South Wales.

AuntyR, I'm not too keen on the JL Christmas ad for tiny tots.
