Traffic...great pics and food ....but who gets a hard time when your OH/BH comes home after missing them so much.....for the record ....I did not neglect this plant
Roast pork shoulder, roast spuds and parsnips, sage stuffing, apple sauce, buttered sprout tops and cider gravy ... Spent the evening recovering on the sofa and watching Blue Planet while starting new knitting project. almost asleep now.
Hope you've all had a lovely day. See you in the morning ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Not long home from a lovely weekend with friends in Drymen. The scenery this morning was stunning, snow on all the highest hills. The Ben (Lomond) the Cobbler and up to Ben Venue plus many more that Fairy could describe better than me. Beautiful part of the country The only problem is that they have deer and the dogs went daft at 5.45 am!
Fairy we came home the old route along Great Western Road, sailed thro. We sat for ages yesterday so made changes.
Dove, Hosta and everyone else who loathes Sat Navs count me in!
GWRS it's really quite rewarding doing the winter clean up isn't it, what you growing for winter veg?
Obelixx dinner sounds lovery but we have to have the heating and the wood burner on. Chilly out there now
Did anyone have firework displays. Our village did a good display and the dogs were calmer than usual this year
sleep well

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne

I don't hate them. They're a tool, one of many. I also keep a road atlas in my backpack and I don't switch off my common sense ( something many sat nav fans do )
I just accept they have their shortcomings and are not infallible.
We use the Sat Nav when we go to Canberra, ever though we lived there for 25 years. We get a lot of laughs from some of the things he/she says. Very entertaining!
weve had about 40 mm rain and still going. Such a great change from the last few months.
Morning all/afties Pat. The wood burner would be handy here!
Cars all look frosted and a lovely sunrise here. I don't get a good enough site here to get sunrise photos though. The 'Ben' had lost most of her snow by the time I came home LP. On the south side anyway. She'll get more soon though. I was thinking of doing Ben Venue recently - not been on that for a long time
Dach - the plant just needs it's tlc by the look of it. I'm sure it'll recover
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
