Just got up and put telly on. Lorraine has men in kilts doing Yoga. Get your xmas treat here girls.

I went to Great Aunt Sylvias 102nd Birthday Party on Sunday. As she said, see you next year. You have to be optimistic at her age. image

We seem to have had a bit of a frost. Blue skies and chilly out there. I'm trying to summon courage to go out to the post office to collect the parcel they didn't  leave yesterday.

It’s snowed a bit here too, but hasn’t settled.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hasn't settled here either BL ... but the sky looks full of it again...

    Hi all.

Nice to see you Bushman, always a good malt available here.

Bitterly cold, but sunny, snow forecast tonight. Our road is not gritted anymore, as the Council say it does not have enough traffic. Problem is, there is a hill at either end, so we can get periods when it is impossible to get the car out.

In 2010, I had to get the bus to work for a week, which was fine, except it was a 30 minute walk to nearest bus stop and then an hours bus ride.

No luck with the travel insurance yet, no surprise there then!

Pdoc, friend's husband died suddenly in September, three weeks before they were due to go on holiday......she is still battling over the travel insurance.
