  • Oh dear Joyce ... sorry to hear that  image  ... it's a bit damp here, but not sodden.

Today has been like living in a cloud of rain. It has just been horrible. Three days in a row☹️

Where shall we escspe to Joyce? Do you think Hosta would mind if we turned up?

Plumber came, late, but in time for us to go out to lunch. Enjoyed lunch, beef stew and dumplings, veg, then Pavlova. Went for a walk afterwards, gets dark so early. Being north of Dordogne darkness arrives half an hour earlier, at least, in Norfolk, then there is the hour's time change so it's 1 1/2 less daylight time in Norfolk compared with Dordogne.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I don't think Hosta would mind LP but I would need to find a shady corner.

I think there's to be dry day at the weekend.....fingers crossed.

You chaps just aren't trying hard enough!   I hope your rain stops soon Joyce and LP and, no doubt, FG.

15C and bone dry here today tho they say that tomorrow we may get some storms and wet bits between 7 and 10 am and again after 1pm.  I'll believe it when I see it.

Birthday tomorrow so maybe that'll be a good rain dance - planning a raid on a nursery and a posh lunch followed by a walk on the beach to work it off a bit.

Glad you got your plumber and your lunch Busy.  I quite fancy making some dumplings now.
