    Yes please Dove.

Watching the cricket higlights on a cold and miserable day, I think it is trying to snow.

Yes thanks, Lily P. The village hairdresser has a new manager so change of staff. But haircut is great.

We went for a walk in a local wildlife fen this afternoon, quite sunny. Then went to a local village pub and the girl who washed my hair this morning was the bar girl in the pub. Nice girl.

  • Hello folks ... we're back from out trip to the city ... Black Thursday apparently image

I have a stylish new hairdo ... very now ... short at the sides (very short) and longer on top image image
I also have some comfy new sort of slipper/shoes from Hotter http://www.hotter.com/gb/en/devotion-sl ... gJ7TfD_BwE 25% reduction 'cos of Black Thursday image Three new paperbacks from Waterstones 'cos I couldn't resist them image and a gorgeous warm scarf/shawl sort of a thing from Accessorize (sort of navy paisley with a bit of silver thread).

OH is cooking supper and I'm on the sofa snuggled into my new shawl with a G&T and listening to Abba and we've just had a text from our beloved niece saying that she's got an A* in her Physics pre Mock (whoever heard of 'pre Mocks???)

It's been a lovely day ... I raised a glass to you Pdoc and there's a G&T here for you whenever you want  ((hugs))

Yes Clari, we always seem to get a little before the end of November.

Punk: the Sheffield honey company have tweeted a few photos of snow fluttering in the wind.

Nothing to get excited about yet.

His lordship is redeeming himself after this morning's delights - He's stopping at the only fish & chips shop that does gluten free battered fish.

Evening. Oh wonder which one of us will have snow first?? Won't be me as it only knows how to rain here!

Just polished off a chicken and root veg stew, which I had in one of those massive Yorkshire Puds - excellent comfort food! I have just noticed that OH has left a bit... so I'll just go and clear the plates (ahem! ??).

Hope everyone relaxing tonight - some of you have been busy bees. Must be gutting to cancel holiday plans Punkdoc, but you don't want to be unwell abroad - not worth it. Perhaps you can treat yourself in another way?
