Went at work always have holiday Jan/Feb for winter sun , now retired no longer bothered , funny how things change , enjoyed Gambia ?? when we went there
With you on that BL - 24 is too hot for me never mind 34. I can hear Hosta's horrified screams from here....
Hope your aches and pains are easing a bit. Dacha's toe as well.
Rather hideous day here. Still got some of the wardrobe to finish - doors and drawers - so I'll be doing that. It took over an hour to unpack it and get all the packaging gathered and into the car. Daughter helped me, but we were still building it at eleven last night, with just a break for dinner. At least five hours. Jeez. That company could learn a thing or two from Ikea about flat pack construction. Couldn't use power tools, because of the design, and it was all screwed together.
We did stop occasionally to have a little dance to suitable songs on the radio...
Will try and do some pix when I finish the path Pat. The bit round the front still has a bit to do as well, mainly the edging to the border. Paving and gravelling is done.
DD- the others are right - some people are just ar*****es. Bridge looks fab. There's a Paul Simon song I'm very fond of (Some Folks' Lives Roll Easy) and one line in particular means a lot to me - # Most folks never catch their stars.
You crack on and keep catching them xxx
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Pat.
Morning all.
Grey and windy out there
How many weeks to wait for your sunshine holiday Hosta?
Chickt too will soon be off to sunny Adalaide.
Funny you should ask Joyce: Hubby had just said " 6 weeks today will be the first day we wake up in The Gambia"
Hosta , not long then
Indeed so Joyce. I'm beginning to feel very white.
After all the rain we've had this summer, it'll be nice to have 2 , totally rain free weeks.
Not to mention 34C

Morning all. Sunshine and blue sky here. 34° is too hot.
Really enjoyed Coast last night about East Anglia. We need to explore more of it when we next go.

This is for the ones advocating electric fences.
With thanks to Footrot Flats by the late Murray Ball.
