Hi did Pat say she was going to Melboune for a few days, we are still house sitting but go back to ourhome next week. I have just go my computer to work so I have been busy catching up on every ones news,
Wasn't in London today - thank goodness. Texted Chicklet as soon as I heard though - she seems to worry more on the other side of the world ? ?
Excited that the first day was good LG ?
Lizzie - I've been to that water garden, with small chicklets in tow .....and we saw a kingfisher too ??
Glad Wonkys wrist is healing - hope it does the trick. And hope BH is soon well enough to enjoy the sun. Love a beach holiday me - only time I get to read novels big time ?
Hello everyone. My iPad didn't work in Canberra. Hubby hasn't set it up so that I can get Internet when away from home.
I'll try to read back later.
The Mammography went as usual (not my favourite test). I think I've got the all clear, but I'll have to wait until my Dr appt for official results.
Hubby's appt with the Endodontist went well, but then the Endo. said he'd like to do more on that tooth, and I've got time this afternoon, so we had about 4 hours to fill in. We went to our daughters place for lunch and our son came over as well, so all told it was a nice time. We've tried a couple of different motel/hotel rooms. Not sure I like being away from home. Nothing is where I like it to be and finding eateries to our taste is a pain in the you know what.
hope all are ok. The tv news is all over the train explosion in London.
Looks as though I'm in for one of those days. I woke to bright sunshine, Hubby left at 8 am to go to the fire station because they are giving an all-day tutorial to the public on how to prepare for bushfires, then the light dimmed noticeably and heavy rain on the south end of the house, and as I've eaten my breakfast, lighter cold rain plus little white flakes in between. I'll be interested to look at the tops of the range opposite when I can see clearly. No wonder it suddenly went cold.
Hi Joyce. I see you're having an early wake up today. I hope your cuppa puts you back to sleep.
and yes, you're right. I dont need that cold southerly at the moment. I'm very tired and would you believe, colouring in a "Where's Wally" book. Lots of small close stuff to find and separate, although I suspect I'll be asleep myself if Hubby doesn't come back early And disturb me.
I'll go back to bed soon and hope to get some more sleep. Yesterday, I went back to sleep until 9.40.......I had relations staying and they had been debating whether to wake me up.
They had made their own breakfast and were packing ready to return home.
Never mind, you'll get back into a routine that suits you. We've had the same experience with having to vacate motel rooms etc. I just might lay back and nod off for a while.

Ah Glenys and Obelixx ... well done ... I remember now
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Pat, you don't want a return of the cold weather
It was good that you were able to see your son and daughter during your 'medical excursion' to Canberra.
Hope Hosta is sleeping. . .

Pat, a day time nap might refresh you.

Hmmm. That's why I don't like having visitors.
