Thanks for all the supportive comments, it's heartening to know how many people returned to study and enjoyed it. I'm only doing one day a week, plus homework, so I'm not too daunted - well done to those of you who embarked on degrees / full time study. That would be a heck of a shock to the system, even if a good one. The college is very near me which makes it very easy to fit in to my other commitments. I'm just a bit worried as my eyesight seems to be deteriorating fast at the moment and juggling glasses is giving me quite a lot of eyestrain. I think I might be very tired on Wednesday night.
Did that thing yesterday where you go to trim a few straggly bits off a bush with the secateurs and before you know it you've got the shears out, have tidied up next door's hedge, lopped a load off a photinia and filled the green bin with loads of branches from two other bushes too. Very satisfying, but almost missed enrolment as I got so caught up in pruning!
Enjoy your lie-ins, Clari. You sound like you're feeling better!

Just been into the city, to buy some holiday reading.
Lovely staff in the shop, but why is everyone in town so rude?

Punk: Sheffield by chance? I've noticed of late it is not the friendly place they like to make out.
