Pdoc, what you do will probably depend on whether or nor your half brother has contacted you.

Hi Punckdoc - I hope you and your sisters can decide on a way forward. Sure you could do without any life-dramas. Go easy.

    Hope everyone else doing ok?

Had a successful garden centre trip: Autumn-feel plants for a planter for Dad, and a lovely rose for Mum-in-law : 'Winchester Cathedral' (smells like honey and almond).

Oh doc - we were slightly worried that you'd gone 'rescuing' again  image

I hope you're ok and not getting too worked up though. I can understand how difficult this must be for you. Look in and chat when you feel able. You know we're always here if you need a rant or a bitof offloading.

Sorry you're feeling a bit cr*p Clari. Do what you need to do to get better though.

Glad you're having a nice break Yvie. Way too hot for me, so I won't join you image

Lovely photo Liri. I love that kind of weather, and the changes it brings.

I can already hear Hosta groaning at my  comments...image

Have you met him yet, Punkdoc? I hope he's nice, but if he is you might feel regret for the missed years.

Have made a load of tomato sauce, now in the freezer, with my tomato glut, a loaf of granary bread and a hot pork pie, which we had half of for dinner.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Fairy, did you see the Paul Murton programme tonight?

The views up Glen Etive were superb and Lorn McIntyre and I were in the same class at school.

We want sunset/sunrise photos from you now.image

Yvi , have had really good holidays in Turkey in the past but now prefer Cruising from Uk ?? , can no longer stand Airports , years ago , going to the Airport was the start of the Holiday but now it is a most unpleasant experience image

Agree about airports but it's a means to an end. Won't do long haul anymore and always book extra leg room seats.

Yes, I saw it  Joyce - I'd let Topbird know about it a few days ago too. image

The chap who was doing the wild camp (Wilkie Murray) posts on the walkhighland site. His photos and videos are stunning. I fancy doing a simple wildcamp, to get a sunrise, but the cost of getting a tent etc is a bit offputting as I wouldn't be doing it regularly! I had talked about it a while ago to someone, but I don't know when it'll happen image

    Was His Lordship nice? image

With you on the airport thing GWRS image

Hope Dove and T'bird didn't eat my share of the scones and jam today ....image image
