Sorry Dove, I didn’t mean to ignore you. How’s the knee today. Did they twist you around much yesterday?
i actually think we are going to get some rain. It’s gone all quiet and even the birds aren’t calling out for more tucker. It would be SO good to get a nice drop. Everywhere is shrivelled up.
Hubby is booked to go back to the Fire tomorrow. It’ll be interesting to see his photos of how it looks now.
Thanks for all the support re Spikey. I was dreading coming home from work last night, but he'd beat me to supper. Hubby said he was there within 2 minutes of him shutting the door.
Chicky, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo jealous of little Chicklet. I really need a holiday.
A whole day off for me to-day but rain forecast later.
Noisy start here - dogs barking cos the builders arrived and then the dulcet tones of a stone grinder and pneumatic drill excavating the channel through the terrace for the water and leccy to be brought in. I've been and cleared an access in the cave/outhouse so they can drill with impunity and gusto.
Previous owners just left marine ply covers on the accesses to pipes heading for the septic tank and water cleaning systems so I've asked for proper ones. Don't want to find that when I'm 37 they've rotted and we fall thru unsuspected holes.
Very misty this morning with visibility down to a couple of 100 metres. Hope it clears by 10 as we have to go to Olonne to get sick Harry treated. Cloth ears can finally hear the rubbing noise now that it's become a grinding noise so has booked him in. That means a trip to the fish and organic cheese and veggies market, lunch by the port and shopping for a present. Hard life.
Hope all are well. Love that photo Chicky, and your drawing Pat. Good news Hosta. I hope all those Saudi women are given dash cams cos the men will blame them for every little scratch!

Big relief for hedgepig Hosta.
