I left work on Monday and pointed out to the " Welcome desk"  how dry the plants were at the front.

I went in yesterday at 12  and they'd been put into the yard Monday night, brought out yesterday morning and STILL not watered. I took it upon myself to deal with them. I removed all the plants from the shelves and put plastic trays underneath the plant and watered everything.

5 hours later I heard one of the managers talking to another:

" One thing we'll have to do tonight is to put plastic trays underneath the plants"

    " OK said the other"

" Erm, I did them all earlier" I said

    " Did you?"

    " Yes"

" well, they'll have to have a good watering tonight then"

" I did that earlier too"

" they'll need another watering tonight"

I just gave up and walked away.

How hard is it for managers to say " Thank-you" or " well done"?

Or offer another freebie to rescue?   Poor plants but they'll be grateful for the watering.

    Hi all.

    Foggy.

I am so jealous of Chicklet, maybe she needs an older companion?

    So pleased about Hedgehog.

Today, I am irate that the BBC journalist Laura Kuensberg, has had to hire security at the Labour Party conference, on account of on line threats from members of Momentum.

I have been a member of the Labour Party for over 35 years and have campaigned for them at several elections, but I am no longer sure that they represent my views.

  • Pdoc ... afraid that Momentum has too many similarities with the SWP for me to have any time for them.

Pat ... lovely bookmark image  Although my knee was pulled about quite a bit it was very expertly done and I'm feeling no ill effects thank goodness.
