Dropped Hubby at Hospital rang yesterday spoke to the Matron explained about his "problems" they popped him in a side room, BP OK yeah!! mind you surgeon thinks things might have to be more invasive, so he aint happy about that. Cant find the rose from my special little (expensive) seed watering can, I saw it somewhere the other day, remember thinking, I must move that silly *****, I should have put i back on the watering can!
Good news about Spikey. I'm still looking for his friends & relations around here; we've not seen a hedgehog in the garden here for about 7 years, I think.
I've had to apologise to the neighbours for causing a stink yesterday afternoon, with my new incinerator. The pong wasn't from what I was burning (dry prunings), but from the paint burning off the outside & inside of the galvanised ex-tomato drum. I knew the paint would disappear when the incinerator was first lit, but hadn't anticipated the foul smell. But on the plus side - I burnt the contents of 14 rubble sacks, until yesterday piled up in the shed so I couldn't get in... ...and shouldn't need to use the incinerator again for a few months.
Punkdoc, were those threats indisputably from Momentum? There are Internet trolls claiming to be from one side or other when they just have a personal vendetta. (I have no personal axe to grind here, by the way - I'm not currently a member of any political party.)
I agree that such bullying is totally unacceptable. The BBC regulator found that Laura Kuensberg's reporting of Corbyn's policy on "shoot to kill" was inaccurate and biased (against Labour), so you can see why she might not be overly popular at the Labour conference, though.
Hope they get to the bottom of the knee (so to speak), Dove. And that your Hubby gets the treatment he needs, Nanny B.
Got to do the ironing... *sigh*
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Well ... That was an interesting if somewhat noisy experience ... And no need to worry about wire in the "underpinnings" as they left my top half sticking out
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
ah Dove, should have warned you. Hosta had me all primed. Did they ask which radio station you would like to listen too? Funny question as you cant hear it anyway. !
We haven't had our hedgehog for years either. I worry about putting out cat food as we have a lit of other animals around Namely badgers!

Dad used to have to have them done once a year. The main problem was he'd usually fall asleep and they'd have to start again because he moved . Mum reckoned he'd sleep through anything.......

Dove it's really noisy when you are completely inside. Hope you get further speedy investigations now.
The choice was Classic FM or ................ Classic FM, but very distorted. Found myself counting all the odd rhythms the machine was making.
