Thanks for the recipes and suggestions Obx. You've reminded me that I've got a spiraliser! And I love aubergines so I'll be keeping that recipe for future use.

Autumn is my favourite season but I'm not ready for it yet.

Clari, being 'switched on' certainly uses energy. Enjoy your Friday evening.

LP the weather's not exactly great here but this has been organised for some time so we're crossing our fingers... and cleaning indoors as a contingency plan.

    Morning all.

Liri that war memorial looks like the one near my house but to take that pic you'd have to be standing/floating in the middle of Belfast Lough! Gorgeous scenery.

Pat you're making me long for skiing. My knees are in tatters but I still miss it. image The smell of R****x and B****y and the aftertaste of paracetamol and ibuprofen.....those were the days. I'd thighs like Sherpa Tenzing! image image

Clari chess players lose stacks of weight during a game. Don't underestimate the power of thinking.

Morning all. Having a cuppa on the bed, with kittens running around bedroom for the first time. From the bed, I have a lovely view of the sun peeping through the tall pines, a street away, and some other tree tops from my and other's gardens. I have to say that there are some Autumnal colour changes going on already! My Ceanothus has over-shot my bedroom window now so that needs a tidy.

I had better make a start on today's jobs... have a good day everybody.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

I've never tried skiing PP, but Hubby used to do cross-country skiing. That reminds me, his skis are probably still stashed in the shed somewhere. Another thing for my list to go on eBay. image Trouble is, he isnt interested in tidying up in there.

Oooo cross country is a whole nuther thing Pat. That's hard work if ever I saw it. On one of our ski trips I watched a chap practicing and what he was doing was skiing down a nursery slope and RUNNING back up!!!! image He was going up at about the same speed as the tow lift!!!! By the time I've carried my skis to the lift I'm ready for a cuppa! image
