Not sure which one you're watching Pat but we just started the latest Celebrity series last night after missing the first. We all disagreed with their choice of leaver but otherwise found John in more positive mode than some merited. Maybe he's changed? Or just likes celebs? I haven't a clue who half of them are anyway.

I don't know who they are either. Rarely watch it as I don't care for Greg and John. Greg always looks sweaty and John shovels food into his mouth.
I don't believe you, Hosta
We had lunch at the Wok place after the supermarket, won't have to cook tonight. Feel sleepy now.
Not sure I want to know what "The President" is up to either - hardly likely to be good news. Was shocked to read how much the French presidents spend on make-up and hair, Hollande must be incredibly vain and he's anything but handsome. I thought Macron spent a lot, £24,000 in his first 3 months, but it's the least a President has spent for some time. It's salary of makeup person included.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hope you feel a bit perkier soon, Pat. Obelixx is right - your body needs the rest, but it makes you feel weird when you wake up after a long sleep.
Just been filling and sanding the holes in the fancy wooden part of the garden bench backrest. (This saga goes on and on...) It's been cleaned up, had rotten bits scraped out, had 2 doses of wood hardener and now the resin-based, 2-stage wood filler. The only problem I've encountered is that it goes from "slumpy" to "help, it's setting" in about 5 minutes... but now it's set and sanded it looks as if it might actually look ok once it's finished. OH has been painting the seat slats so we're making proper progress at last.
Daughter in Ireland wants me to make suggestions for one of her borders, preferably including raspberries. Does anyone have a recommendation for a well-behaved raspberry which tastes good and doesn't need much in the way of support?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
It'd need to be a big container and have good John Innes no 3 compost.
Bench saga sounds log and involved. Too busy sewing for Possum to think about all my furniture projects, indoors and out, but will get cracking once she's gone back to Namur. Apart from anything else, 6 of my scientists are coming for lunch (weekend in La Rochelle for them) so I shall need indoor chairs and a table in case it's cool or, heaven forfend, wet! Dining room is currently empty for dance practice.

Well, I left him with Greg and John criticising first time master chef contestants while I headed to the shower.
I'm now dressed and ready for Bed. (Feel as though I've hardly left it today).
Is anyone else fed up with John being so negative about every single dish being prepared. I'm fed up with him. At least Greg loves his sweets.

Liri, nearly time for bed again, but I've got a good book to read on my kindle
.
thanks for the latest puzzles. Lovely.
Tall order Liri. As far as I know all raspberries sucker and spread. Suggest she has a look at the Ken Muir website but also search for Little Red Princess which is apparently shorter than most raspberries but still suckers but would maybe do well in a tub - http://www.lubera.co.uk/plants/soft-fruit/raspberry/autumn-raspberries-fruits-on-1-year-canes/lowberry-raspberry-little-red-princess

Afternoon.
Popped up for some lunch .
I've been messing about in the lake all morning and , I have to confess, my super duper new waders leak
I've got a soggy groin.

Does anyone know what lives in water but stings like the bejeezus? As painful and sharp as a wasp sting.
I hate to think what it might be Hosta, especially down there.
