    Hi Joyce.

Overcast cold day here, so we're inside. I've just put a slow cooking beef stew on for dinner. Easy peasy. I know, I'm a lazy cook, but I don't get the pleasure Hubby gets from pottering in the kitchen.

He's asleep. Best place for him when he is coughing all over the place.

Hi Pat, sorry to hear your OH is still poorly. Hope the cough eases soon for your sake as well!

I use the slow cooker a lot for meals. Frees up time for going into the garden.

Yes Joyce. I gave my slow cooker to my daughters friend who is at work all day and wants dinner when she gets home, and besides I haven't used it for ages. I am the same as you - would rather be in the garden rather than the kitchen. It shouldn't be long before the weather improves. image

Morning Joyce  /afties Pat. Hope OH is better today. The stew will help both of you! Can't beat something like that in cool weather.

Sorry you had a duff night Joyce. WIll you get a little nap at some point?

Ppauper's pic is  beautiful. Could do with some of that sky today but it doesn't look that brilliant just now. Hope the forecast is right when I get to Glen Etive.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Fairy. I hope you have good weather for your weekend. I enjoyed that last puzzle thanks.

I don't expect Hubby to get well for some time after what a Lilyp said about 90-100 days. image He's already fed up with coughing and feeling weak, etc. just as well we got that load of firewood a few days ago.

    Morning all.

Yet another rubbish night for me too , but I didn't get up . I'm not sure I slept for more than 45 minutes without waking. Off to Hospital on Friday to have adrenal gland / cortisol checked out.

Fingers crossed they find something .
