Morning Hosta. It sounds as though you need a full body suit to get in there again. I had a friend years ago whose father worked at "The Lodge" - the house where the PM lives in Canberra. He was head gardener there but wasn't able to do the Ponds because of some allergy. He had to get one of the other gardeners to do that job.
I picked up a small branch tip that had been been blown off by the wind. I decided to have a go at drawing the leaves, gum nuts and unopened blossoms. I haven't done any painting for a few years, sot was a bit of a challenge. I'm rather pleased that I've managed to get the colour pretty well on the leaves, since the Eucalypts are notoriously dull green.
Just a little play to get my hand in again and to sort out my brushes.
Lilyp, I was thinking about spring coming and talking to Hubby about it. I think the worst part is the emergence of the snakes from their winter hibination and emerging rather hungry and randy. I need to sharpen my eyes soon. Mixed blessings - warmer weather and snakes!
didnt think of that, take care Please! I remember stamping around in the Wimera valley it was hot and the next day there was a huge fire we got caught up in. Not good.

I'm trying not to think about the fire season, Lilyp. They are predicting a bad one this summer because of the low rain this year.
