I'm sure he enjoys insects as much as we do😋
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Me neither @markandres100, looks great; and a lovely find @borgadr. Loving all the bees @wild edges!

Found this little guy hiding from the rain in a rosebud (Vanessa Bell), you can see the eyes if zoomed in — forgive the iPhone photos.

    Cambridgeshire, UK
  • Mine's an iphone picture too. I'm surprised how clear it is. The ladybird is only four or five millimetres long at most.

Just found this Propylea quattordecimpunctata on a sunflowerhead. Have never seen one before.
I love the markings on these. You get all kinds of faces made out of the spots.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • A slightly shaky shot of the Welsh Chafer, Hoplia philanthus. Despite its name it is also widespread in England, but with a patchy distribution. The larvae feed on grass roots.

  • Saw this little one sharing the achilleas with the ladybird larvae.

I'm assuming it's some variety of miridae but can't pin it down beyond that.
  • @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool I did wonder about that but the colouring didn't seem quite right.
