Another absolutely tiny moth that found its way into the house last night the Triple-barred Argent (Argyresthia trifasciata). A tiny beige moth to the naked eye but very snazzy gold and white stripes when magnified. Probably 3mm long. Apparently they've only been in the UK since the early 1980s.

You just get to see the photos that went well. Well my plan was to release it in the morning and take some more natural photos outside but it legged it as soon as I opened the box. This warm weather turbocharges all the bugs so I've got more missed photos than passable ones.
