Tiny bees have been driving me crazy today :|  Just to give you a better idea of the size of them.
    and a cropped closeup

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

and if tiny bees weren't hard enough to take photos of then this even tinier wasp was almost impossible. Probably half the size of the bee, maybe smaller. This is a full size crop of the only photo I managed to get in focus.

I actually managed to get a photo of a leaf-cutter sitting still though :)

Lol would have preferred if you cropped out the dirty finger instead of the lovely flower! :D

It's not dirty - he's a gardener. The finger gives a good sense of scale.

I think I saw a woodlouse spider today wandering through snail city. A bone dry south facing wall. You'd think he'd look under a flower pot instead
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Interesting moth diversity (if you find that kind of thing interesting).

Good question but I don't know. I've found some good guides on line that show there's 13 very similar species within the family group, some can be ruled out easily due to location or form but otherwise they all have too much variation within each species to tell just by the patterns and colours. I think there's 2 or maybe 3 species there but can't tell for sure. The only reliable way to tell is by looking at their genitals and I've no great urge to spend my time looking at moth willies :#
