    Brimstone moth.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Gosh that was quick wild Edges thanks, just come in from the top of our garden trimming our Laurel wave ( I've shaped it that way) and a quick look over the top of 'our valley' from our decking at the top of our garden and seen a few speckled woods butterflies flitting about here and there , so nice. thanks

    Amazing!
  • Wonderful photos, @Papi Jo. Unfortunately I’m still just using my phone with a macro lens attachment.

Wonderful photos, @Papi Jo. Unfortunately I’m still just using my phone with a macro lens attachment.

I'm using a phone lens attachment too - but it's quite hard to get it dead steady without using a tripod. Do you have any other phone gear to get such good light and clear pics? @pitter-patter
  • I don’t, @Fire. If the situation allows I rest my elbow on something sturdy, like a trellis or a pot. But most of the time I just try to keep my hand as steady as possible. I don’t think a tripod would  help when you’re in the middle of the border trying to take a photo of something that doesn’t want to stay still!

I do the same but with such macro I find it's easy for pics to blur. You have a steadier hand than me! And probably a better phone!
