Its normal for me Pat, got all these books by sleep experts they say "go to bed hen you are tired", well thats sometimes about 9pm, sometimes I can still be awake at2 or 3, go to sleep woken up by Hubbies alarm at 5, and maybe go back to sleep when hes gone to work at 6. Keep reading you MUST have 8 hours otherwise you will go mad get dementia and goodness knows what else. Another expert (these are all qualified medical Drs by the way) work out your circadium rhythem, in 90 minute cycles, work backwards, go to bed at that time even if its 1 in the morning, you mustnt fall asleep on the sofa (which I do) so I would take the dogs out to stay awake, THEN go into "nightshift£ mode, and still be awake around 3, waiting to get tired. I did follow one chaps advice it was in the Daily Mail, he is a sleep expert, works for a lot of the olympic sports teams, and was averaging 5-6 hours a night, because I felt great on, so that must be what I need, never mind 8, dont think I ever slep that much in my life. I dont have any electrical devises in the bedroom.A lot say go to bed and get up at the same time every day.
I've decided to sit out on the covered back area to get some rays because I havent been getting many lately. It's not bad. Just a little breeze every now and then. I've rolled my sleeves up to try for more.
Im still suffering from food poisoning a few weeks ago, so need to be cautious with food intake.
at least I can sleep. Hope I don't Jonah myself now.
Yes, isn't it good being retired.im glad your sleep pattern is returning. So good to feel as though youve had a good rest. Did you get a chance to look at Alena's work?
That little bit of sun was lovely. Inside now at nearly 4pm, cooling off already.
I suggested to Hubby that we might be able enclose a small area on the north west side of the house that would give us protection from wind but still get a bit of sun In winter. We are going to think about it. It might be too hot in summer. Might talk to the builder who did our extension 10 years ago. See what he thinks. We'd need lots of windows to open up for the hot times.
Well it appears to have rained all night so I dare not think what the field I'm going to be stood in all weekend will be like (information stand for work). Looks like my new boots will be getting *horrors* muddy!
I just hope the rain doesn't put people off visiting the show.
Pat; I will confess in the winter I sit in the greenhouse to get and soak up the sun. It's usually crammed fit for bursting with pots and bits but the way the sun heats your joints; well central heating never does that. I do like the idea of a nice scheduled space; I hope your builder can come up with a solution.
I probably should get up. Efforts to engage in chat with his lordship aren't working as he's having a lay in apparently and can fall asleep quicker than pass wind. Maybe I'll leave him a post it note telling him how I love him (But that if he leaves a mess in my nice clean kitchen he's taking me out to a posh restaurant tonight... that should scare him).

Morning all.
Pat, nice to have a few rays of sun.
NB, my sleep pattern is gradually returning. I just go with it having an afternoon doze if necessary. No alarm to get me up for a day's work now

Pat, i haven't had a chance yet but have written down the details, should be good for winter to pass time.
Good idea, Joyce.
