Good morning Dove, Pat and Joyce (thinking of you: I lost both my Uncle and Aunt to cancer not so long ago).  I hope it helps you to know that we are all thinking about you.  Hope it's not too hot today. Kettle just boiled.  Cats have been fed.  Catching up on the news on the beeb.

Chicky, lucky you having a sing song "and I still haven't found what I'm looking for".  Loved the JT album too.  Have a lovely time.

Hello again. I got a notification for the first time for a few days, so it seems as though they've caught up.

Been to town, got the tablets, image, back home, got the washing off the line (it had clouded over by the time we got home ) put those items that can stand being put in the tumble dryer in there, then the smalls etc draped over a frame in the lounge room to get their last chance from the wood heater. Still irritated about my lapse in memory about needing tablets.

Lovely to hear from you Joyce.

We're off to Canberra early tomorrow. Two of our neighbours said they saw light snow at 8.30am today - we were still snuggled under the bedclothes at that time. Hubby's weather station recorded minus 8.

    have a good day all.

Exactly Dove. My nose and ears are cold.

I hope our drive tomorrow isn't coinciding with either snow or heavy frost.

Morning all/afties Pat. What a pain having to make that trip. Under the bedclothes was probably the best place for you earlier image

Good to see you Joyce. Small steps are the only way x

Enjoy your concert chicky - behave, or we'll get to know about it image

Another damp day here. We were forecast some thunder yesterday Dove, but it didn't appear. I love a good thunderstorm.  Could have done with it to clear the air a bit, but we just got the rain. At least it was warmer than it's been lately so I don't need the heating on this morning!

Friday again - where does the time go. Catch you all later after work - if it's not dry enough to do something outside, and there may be tennis to watch..... image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all. We missed the storms here so another pleasant day but not as warm. Having a big change to routine here as I can't keep my patio doors open because we have new... KITTENS!!

They are delightful boys - bouncing round and causing general kitten-mischief! Lovely when they fall asleep though!

Hope everyone has a calm and pleasant day ahead.

Fairy ... we had everyone else's thunderstorms as well as our own ... apparently we're almost cut off from the rest of the country by train today ... lightning strikes have affected train routes, schools have been closed due to flooding, and several houses etc were struck yesterday afternoon. OH says that the garden centre had to close yesterday as the covered areas, kitchens and restaurant were all flooded by leaks from the new roof, and a house just down the road from the farm shop was struck.

But at least it didn't rain at Wimbledon image

I felt so sorry for that poor girl whose knee gave way beneath her ... I know how that feels ... image

Charlie (dark choc brown) and George (black and white tuxedo); although we nickname them Bean and Pea! They were born in a stable block on a farm, both Mum-cat and Grandma-cat had litters within a week of each other and shared the nursing and care.
