Dove; I had to get on far too many before I found a pair that would accommodate my calves; what skinny minis do they model these on??

Please pass on my excitement and CONGRATULATIONS to Wonky!!

Sticks Clari ... They're modelled on sticks ... Or on Wonky ... How did I have such a slim and elegant offsprung?

There's a party going on in the distance ... End of school I suppose ... It's a lovely warm still night for a party image

Time for bed ... Sweet dreams all ... image

Congrats to Wonky from me too. She works so hard, and it's good to see her employers appreciating her enthusiasm.

we recorded minus 9.9 this morning I'm told.image I stayed in bed for ages and had a very late breakfast. No lunch needed today.

This is the chart of the readings for July so far for us (from Hubby's weather station). I just know you are jealous Hosta.

He did include a photo of a brass monkey, but I need to save it separately or I'll lose this post.image

Oh, that monkey looks miserable! I bought myself a sloth yesterday, at the "tip" I love them, the tip has a shop, ridiculous prices you could equip your whole house there cheap as chips! He was 20p we gave them 50p.  I gave up and got up at 4, also Pat, went to bed at 9 really tired, up at 12.30, it was raining not a huge amount remembered mower was out side, Hubby putting up new shed so had to squeeze it into the greenhouse, took it out to water.  Fell asleep and didnt water last night so glad of the rain.

Hello Nanny. I hate having a disturbed sleep, so sorry to hear about your night.

Ive just been out to scatter bird seed around near the feeder. I feel sorry for them being so cold.

ill probably be buying much more the way it's going here.

Very fancy gum boots Clari. I can't wear them either, because of high insteps. Like Hosta, I'm more comfortable in flip flops (we call tham thongs here)image

Yes Dove, we are a diverse lot, I actually hate wellies, I am latex sensitive, so didnt wear the "rubber" kind, then came plastic, I find they rub, I did borrow my daughters "Hunters" just to walk the dogs one day, I cant walk in them, and I find them so difficult to get on and off, do I  I have "proper" walking boots, very unglamerous,  ankle ones for walking the dogs, trainers in the summer.
