Pictures, not sure about the white mushrooms but the smaller black ones are called birds nest (fluted?) mushrooms. The other was just a pretty big angel trumpet flower lol.
Pictures! The first is the plumaria in flower! It's about 4 or 5 years old. Some pampas grass near a restaurant, the next is the Texas hibisca it grew so far about 8 feet this year alone but will die back to the ground, luckily I also got seeds from it this year ^-^. The next is a yellow wildflower but it's up the road and has a white tint to its branches but it's a weed thats really nice. The moth I've been trying to look up the name and the white flower is a bell pepper. The last is a darker dragonfly, like a brownish black but still very nice.
if anyone wants seeds of a certain type just ask and I'll see what I have. So far the main ones I can get seeds from are the double purple angel trumpet, red foliage cotton, and Texas hibisca seeds.
Meow! Some orange mushrooms growing on the deck outside lol. The gerbera daisy in early flower and wet. The persian silk tree (mimosa) in its second flowering this year ^-^ and the last is our pomegranate it took a beating this year and is actually looking a lot better than earlier this year, there are fruits, we got a few last year and we're pretty big and delicious, but I'll probably pull the smaller pomegranate off to help the bigger one and it may not look great but it lets you know what kind of climate we got down here. Just barely mediterranean lol and all the plants I have in the ground will stay in the ground til they die or If I find something I think will be better in its place. But everything in the yard is as is, usually whenever I put something in the ground (unless it does terribly) it's meant to stay. the pomegranate is an exception, something would probably be better there, but even brookgreen gardens pomegranates didn't look as good as ours last year lol. It's my moms too lol. The pomegranate and all our plants will stay in the ground through the winter and so forth, however some of the plants in pots need to come in, about 15-20 plants I need to find a place for in the house over winter but hopefully if I can remove the garage door and replace it with a glass wall and seal off the garage on the inside then have a plant storage room for the winter and summer, instead of putting them in our house in front of windows like we've been doing for the past 3 or 4 years lol
Viridian: a grasshopper perhaps, a small spider im not sure what kind but the other was smaller and a jumping spider and the picture makes it look gold but it's kinda black and white. Moth or butterfly on orange cosmo with its tongue out lol. A gerbera in full flower. A couple Passion flowers and they're fruits. The "oranging". The first signs of a purple angel trumpet seed pod forming. just a nice backyard late day pic. The "purple-ing" of the strawberry bush fruits. Some snails, and the plumaria flowering nicely now and even after the flower fall they'll smell good for days (Tiki has the half brown face and Phoebe). The last is the pindo palm in fruit and flower.
The night-blooming cereus in its 9th, 10th, and 11th flowering. The first night had four the next had like sixteen but two fell off as I moved it into the front yard so neighbors down the road may see it, I don't throw parties or show things off but if I can display something nice once in a while I'll try. But those two are in the glass and they still flowered after falling off hours before and still closed. And the other night had four as well. So somewhere around 24 flowers in a few nights time. Day and Night, hoping to see the eclipse >.<
"It's been a while ep". Purple butterfly peas in good flower. Flowering of the pitcher plant. Blue flowers at work, Yucca getting flower stalk. Swirl-colored plumaria at the nursery along with the super duper tall orchid. The last is the weed/plant growing next to the persian silk tree in flower and the last is coming outside too fast and trying to take a picture cause of the moisture. It's been in the high 90's lately and just hot and humid.
Thank you very much, and I like slugs and beetles if you haven't noticed .
but some of us from work and my Dillon went to Manning to a lake to see the eclipse and it was very nice, me and Dillon were floating on a raft watching it for a bit, I didnt get any pictures tho I kinda wanted to but not really, some things it's better to enjoy the experience rather than try to get the picture lol but all in all with all the traffic and driving it was a great day, but everyday should be great no matter if it rain, shine, hail, or snow. ^-^
Our Bubby(Groovy) one of our guinea pigs, passed away a few days ago. He lived a long time and made the family very happy and brought a lot of joy to me and our other animals. We still have Kirby the black and white guinea, and we're taking more care of him cause of his brothers passing but i loved our Bubby and will always miss him.

Just caught up on your pictures. Love your garden and the bugs are pretty amazing too. Much nicer to look at than my lily beatles and slugs.
