imageimageimageimageimageimageimageStickerbrush Symphony: orange roses with a pollinating bee ^-^. Some cotton our “black” roses lol a toad that has eluded me it’s name...for now..but he was definitely a growler and he puffed himself up, my kitty was trying to get him but I shoo’d ole Berry away hah. the Toad is a very nice colour tho. Our double purple angel trumpet still in flower and seed lol still growing...I made a bird feeder stand/stake tie for the trumpet, so as it’s tall enough for the birds not to get plucked by the kitties and strong enough to support the plant itself it’s probably 9foot now. The stake is treated 2x2x8 with about 2 feet in the ground. And the last is our white daffodils coming up!!! They were like a dollar a piece at the nursery so I got just 2.

  • imageimageimageimageimageNovember: cold mornings, warm afternoons, cooler nights. The black and yellow-striped toad is actually an eastern spadefoot, I had to go through two website admins to figure it out, one kept saying it was an oak toad, but that didn’t sound right to me. so I went to the DNR’s (game warden) site and someone from Clemson Univ. suggested it was an eastern spade foot, which was really nice to finally figure out lol. I wish I knew the name of every plant and animal but I don’t, and it’s usually a long process to figure out something’s name usually because a lot of what I deal with has a lot of similarities with others (As any gardener/person knows lol) But the garden continues and I’ve been moving onto cleaning up the backyard which is easier said than done because the dogs and kitties like to play and I don’t want to restrict them too much. However I am setting up plants that will start to be the layout and mulching them that way in years time when they’ve developed the yard will have more of a structure and be easier to finish (like our garage lol finish the outside then little by little Sheetrock the inside and make it more home-y)

  • imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageThe Purple Vines at the top were in a bowl of water with roots and I planted them and in a few days had flowers lol, those 2 White Daffodils we bought for $2, I should have bought a lot more haha! A cocoon with the imprint of the caterpillars cute little feets. The natural splitting of the purple angel trumpet seed pod and the Trumpet “Tree” which is still growing, and the backyard is still horrendous but it’s getting a lot better believe it or not. But the season changing is showing in the colors and alot of growth around is slowing down. And a snail on the prickly pear and it got a little worried when I got close.
