imageThis is our pitcher plant! It's about 3 Plus feet and has huge pitchers on it, I took pictures of the various stages and they can start off and end small aswell, the larger ones can be as big as 6 plus inches while there are one closer to the leaf the measure just about an inch so it's pretty cute >.<

This is beautyberry quite common around sc and for me a better substitute for box, privet, or yew.  Beautiful flowers and good foliage and I haven't come across much diseased plants.  Not talking bad about privet or yew really but box blight or just badly cut box plants are common around here, I see more bad than good with box is all. Though when I started gardening with bonsais I did try with box for a while but lost the attraction cause honestly unless your making designs with box it that really isn't that showy :\

imageA double purple angel trumpet seed pod, this ones a little different(bigger one) as there is a small growth at the tip, doesn't seem to be causing harm tho.

imageSome borage I'm growing at my job, i planted quite a bit of these this year so they've gotten a bit out of hand, but I love this plant and these flowers, it reminds me of something in the great fairys fountains in the legend of Zelda lol ^-^

  • Loved seeing your flowers, so nice to see thease tender plants growing outside like they should.

loved the last photo of the borage with the light behind it to show up the hairiness of it.

well done and I almost forgot to welcome you to the forum, keep up the good work.

Thank you for sharing your pictures, you have beautiful plants, most would never grow here in Ireland! Some are very exotic looking but some are also very alien looking, remind me of some of the vegetation from the film Avatar!

What fabulous plants.  You must have a large plot to grow such a large selection.  Are you in a 'holiday' area?  Can I see a boat and motor home in the background?  How do you cope with watering all those pots in dry weather?

As I said I really like the bells of ireland I just love green flowers, then (had the tall white lilies, tall asian pink) the shorter orange lilies. Also a Japanese bloodgood, and I threw some ornamental corn seeds out and I believe that's red corn but we'll see later on in the year. And the last is a yellow crown of thorns, but note under certain conditions there leaflets, or whatever I just call them flowers tho they may not be lol, turn reddish around the edge and give it a very nice touch.
