Some edibles we grew so far, very modest but enough for a small dinner. Lemon cucumber, purple carrots medium and small lol, potatoes, onion, peppers and peaches ^-^ also the small grapish looking things in the small plastic pot are actually potato seed pods I'm not sure if I pulled too soon >.> we'll see, and one ornamental gourd that came from seed a year or two back that was growing with the grapes .  Not a big harvest but one of my first like actual attempts of growing vegetables and it's been great!!

imageimageimageThe grasshoppers get really big 3 or 4+ inches. And the Persian silk tree or mimosa. Something about thinking of flowering trees the moon and sand feels very exotic lol

And the way that your face glows
In the light of your cell phone
Is leaving me lost and confused

And the way that your hair falls
    Down past your cheekbones
Is leaving me lusting for you again

I wish I was there in your room again
I wish I was there in your room

And the way that the sun shone
Make the cracks in the blinds glow
Is leaving me lost and confused

And the way that your hip bones
    Dug into my hip bones
Is leaving me lusting for you and -

I died in your arms that night....

Lost a couple things through the rain and heat. My fault for watering too much, and too little

peach tree - got flooded in the backyard and caught up to the peach tree and drowned it a little bit. Dug it up put it in a pot and hoping it stays ok...

and I didn't water for like 2 days cause things haven't been so great... and the dogwood got burned and all crispy, which sucks cause that was one of the plants my brother got me before he died but it was my fault for not watering cause Ive been a little down lately..I'm hoping it recovers as well but idk, if it doesn't recover this year I'll give it til  next spring to see if some newer shoots come.

other than that this years been good, cut a few branches in the backyard so more light can come through, while cutting tho I fell off the ladder bout 6-8 feet up and landed on my butt, didnt break anything but had a branch fall on me lol no bruises or scratches but ughhh! lol

imageimageSome greater news, the dogwood is already coming back and I'll have some pictures of it later ^-^. The pink and yellow is the pacific ocean dahlia which im starting to deadhead and  is a smaller flower but this will be my first dahlia growing attempt lol.  And I'm not sure what that pinkish/lavender and white flowers with the yellow dots inside are but there one of my favorite and i can only get them by digging them up and potting them when I see the flowers. I could probably deadhead these but I hate doing that but I know it can help the flowering. The last is our pink gerbera daisy.
