Hey everyone I just wanted to say thank you for 15k+ views. I know I have not been on top of thanking everyone like I should but thank you, really. It's been a crazy year for us but we're still here, and I hope everyones year has been great too. summer fish fly, spider lily, and some cotton and kingnut hickory seeds/shells lol
Randoms, the beetle is either a pine sawyer or some type of a long horned, but still nice. Also the purple is a blue mistflower I think, id actually like to grow that if I'm able, it was my boss's house lol and a sun-faced morning and the other is a field with low fog/mist
12th & 13th flowering this year, the first night had 19 flowers bloom, the next night just 2, but 21 flowers in all!! And I've put most of the plants in the garage for now, it can still get 90+degrees F outside, but I just wanted to see how they'd look and do, so far, even without the extra sunlight there's been minimal change, plants seem to in fact flower more in the garage, atleast for now. Even our Dahlias are flowering In there. And there's no A/C so it stays for the most part hot and dry, just a half open window for breeze. I'll have some more pictures of the setup and some transplanted stuff later.
I've never seen that purple flower with the yellow eye but is a water hyacinth from SC. We've been growing it since we found it down the road at the edge of the river like most of the water plants we find. It's probably one of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen and it only lasted a little while. It began to flower while I was at work, when I got off it was in full flower and by the next morning it was already spent, and the blue flower is a creeping blue forget me not. Very wonderful little flowers!
It’s a black grasshopper that’s all I know. They usually come from down the road, born in clusters. Earlier in the year we go down to the boat landing and certain spots where we walk start jumping with dozens of baby grasshoppers, they get bigger, and usually move up the road where they start munching on anything lol, the good news about them is that you usually catch it quick where there eating >.< lol but they are adorable, and this little guy was missing a leg but they aren’t aggressive and probably fly but I haven’t seen one in a while, they get kinda slow when they get big too, but you can pick them up and hold them and they wont bite but they do have strong legs. And it gets scary haha
Looked out the window and wanted to take a picture of the morning glories and strawberry bush cause the colors were nice but as soon as I went outside it was so humid the lens fogged up and I got this picture, I could have waited for the temp to regulate but I thought this was nice enough

I love looking at your pics, but I don't think I'd sleep at night if I lived there
