We seem to be one of the few areas of the country not suffering from drought at the moment.  It's no longer muddy on my regular walks, but the garden is still moist - I've not had to water anything except pots this year.  We had heavy rain last night.  (Not trying to make you jealous, Joyce & Marion...)

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Liri, I don't remember ever having to take the hose out in April.  Some years it's never out at all given our west coast wet.

Lad next door has just brought me two tubers of oca (New Zealand Yam) growing in pots.  I can just see the first leaves!  Never grown those before so will be interesting.

Going to a charity fair so will get myself a tray of pansies for them to sell for the funds and stagger round with it.  We find things that are in flower sell best and mine are.  No doubt will come home with something for the garden as I went t the shops for some money - never having any in the house since i started shopping for my groceries online.

Marion, I love a wander round a plant fair.  No doubt you will find something that catches your eye.
