Good morning. First dry, bright day here for a while.  More planting to do and the soil will be nice and moist.

The woodland pics have a lovely tranquility about them, Marion.

Hello Marion!  Just found your new thread.  Glad to hear you had gardening help over the weekend.

There's so much colour in your garden - your tulips in particular are really lovely.  They don't grow well for me, so I like to see other people's!

Hello Liriodendron.  Five pictures up you can see my Tulipa clusiana "Cynthia" which i find the easiest tulip to naturalise.  The highly bred varieties do not do so easily but this pretty one is very near to the species and so naturalises well.  Can recommend to anyone who has trouble with tulips.

Thanks Marion.  I'll look out for it in the autumn.  Tulipa sylvestris is the only one which seems to like me...

Love your epimedium Marion.  I couldn't grow them in Belgium as it was just too cold and I expect the soil was wrong but I bought a new one with deep pinky red flowers at a plant fair on Saturday and hope it will like it here.
