Too risky in my garden today as we had thunder and lightning and a downpour and I have no shelter of any kind up there.  Hopefully the weather will be more settled for the rest of the week.

Nasty  weather Marion but the ground should have got a good soak.

Hope tomorrow is better in your area.

Good gardening weather today so  have started getting the daffs and tulips out of my big pots so i can plant them up for the summer.  Managed to do one which now has a lovely hosta and flowering pansies in it and will try to get another planted up for the other side of the path.  two a day and that job should be done by the end of the week.  The torrential rain we had yesterday was very much to the liking of the broad beans so should have my first picking soon.  The potatoes loved the rain as well.

Took my camera up the garden but there appeared a huge black cloud so only took 4 pics before i chickened out and made for the house.

Cleared the daffs from two big pots and put in a hosta plant and pansies in each.  Bulbs now drying for the autumn planting session.  Good gardening weather in Bristol and forecast is same for next few days so should get lots of jobs done.  Still not warm enough to sit outside and just admire and listen to the birds!

The patio table has had its scrub to get ready for summer meals.  I will tackle the chairs tomorrow.

Table has scrubbed up well Marion.  The pots of pansies are beautiful.

I managed three hours in the garden today while the carer was here.imageimageimageimageimageimageimage

Ah lovely in Tenby.  Good nursery there for buying plants!  Weather still dry and sunny in bristol.  I must do some pot watering today.
