Good morning , lovely photos , nice idea about phlox in with broad beans
spent yesterday doing first cut of hawthorn hedges , could not believe how thick they where , lovely sunny day , not so good today , cold wind and possible frosts due
You too GWRS. I have a present from the birds or the wind of a hawthorn tree this year which i plan on keeping. i will plant blue and white primula denticulata under it and keep the canopy haigher than my head. They look so lovely in flower but then i only have one other one, not a hedgeful.
Brilliant sunny day in Bristol so tackled the backlog of new plants needing a place in the garden. i have a ladies club visiting on 24th May so must start tidyiny my miles of pathways to make sure they are all safe and free of obstacles for ladies with sticks.

Very healthy plants Marion. A bumper crop of beans later.
Up my garden in the brilliant sunshine this afternoon.
Marion, is that a tree peony with the yellow flowers?
The Montana is lovely. Mine is still in bud.
