Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

About time they looked into football and their dodgy tax affairs.

Scrap non dom status of players and make them pay tax on the millions they earn here too.

    Morning all.
Fed-up with the weather forecast. It didn't mention frost, said it would be cloudy with showers and the odd sunny period today. But it was -2° there was a frost, ice on the water butts and clear blue sky. The garden dahlias have all been frosted, they are the ones that survived -12° in the winter and stayed in the ground. There wasn't room in the cold frames for all the ones in pots so I left 3 dahlias outside the GH door to harden off. Wanted to plant them before we left but they have been frosted.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

BL, it's early still. I'd cut them back and let them get on with it.

My "hot" tunnel went down to 1.5C last night. All fine in there thankfully. The frost has lifted from the Hostas and I think / hope, they're all fine too.
