I meant to put this photo on a couple of days ago, after seeing the article about the Bristol grammar people.

This local shop has an apostle back to front in the stained glass. It's been there for years.

I love toasted almonds in chocolate and somebody has started selling them done in salted caramel and then copped and mixed into chocolate.   Very dangerous stuff for chocaholics like me.

If it's anything like the Walnut Whip I bought at the English shop a few years ago Busy I fear your Creme Egg will be a disappointment.    Have fun with your new car.  Does she have a name?

I had expected to be getting mucky in the garden by now but Cosmos has a hurty - he says - so I'm waiting for an hour to see if he's OK or needs vetting.  He is hopeless at jumping and missed when he jumped onto Possum's window sill and fell.

Poor Cosmos ... but it's not his fault ...

    Great cartoon Dove.

His main problem is that he hasn't yet realised his back legs are for propulsion so he will climb or pull using his front legs (lovely when it's my jeans to get to my shoulder) rather than push and jump with what horsey folk call impulsion.   He's on his hands rather than his hindquarters.  We can always tell when he's coming downstairs cos Minstrel is a silent pussy who knows what her muscle groups are for.

He has managed to limp outside to sunbathe, then came in for a re-assuring cuddle and has now jumped over Rasta to get outside again with no limp.  I think he's going to be fine.   Boys!

Bonzo is whimping now cos I've just applied the flea and tick treatment to his neck.  he seems to think it's a punishment.  Bozo.

Sounds promising, Obelixx.  Maybe he'll learn...

Heard a cuckoo early this morning.  First for 7 years here!  image

We live in hope Liri. I decided to go and hang up some summer tops still lurking in packing boxes and have had to stop because he's now nesting in the box.  Managed to jump in OK except for the clutzy landing on his head!   Purry boy now.

    Time to get mucky.
