Afties all - been busy outside as we seem to have got spring - for a day anyway  image

Almost double figures and sun - I even had a bite of lunch outside. Tempting to think I could have got a hill, but it was all fog and mist forecast pretty much everywhere until afternoon, so time was better spent here instead.

Been making the cold frame. Sigh ...more trouble than it's worth. I'd got a couple of windows from a work colleague, but the r***y things are so heavy and cumbersome, I'd have been better building the frame, buying some polycarbonate and putting that in another frame to make the lid. Gift horses and all that...image

And the screwdriver ran out of power of course...double  image

The goldies were lovely Dove. Fortunately, the window cleaners came on Friday  image

Hope chicky has escaped the showers!

Oh, I forgot to mention...... The guy who runs the little nursery along the road from Waitrose, came in today and asked me if I wanted some hemerocallis. He's having a clear out , doesn't want anything for them , just someone who will give them a home and can he have the pots back.

Fab Dove. I've not watched any of it.... image

We'd better not get carried away with the weather Joyce...we might kid ourselves that winter's over....image

Lovely to see a nice day though. Birds were all singing their little heads off, and even the nuthatches were in and out at the feeder and not bothered by all my noisy drilling and sawing... and effing and blinding...

not to mention the singing!  image
