oh I'm glad it has been found! I'd not dare wear something so precious much less send it to a dry cleaners.

The hound and I are cuddled up on the bed. I think today's DIY efforts have disturbed his nap routine and he's now in grumpy toddler mode where he refuses to settle unless his "mummy" cuddles him... Hard to believe he's related to police dogs!! image

Was delighted to read about the found dress too ????  But thought it weird that the insolvency company had now seized it image

Have had quite an eventful day. Babysat for little grandsons this morning. This afternoon went to the Renault garage with my son, test drove a car similar to the one I want, then ordered a new car. They have offered me a generous amount for my old car. I thought it was 12, but son looked at my registration document and said it's 13. Thank you to Mum, who left me the money a few years ago when she died.

I saw that news about the wedding dress on TV about an hour ago, the young bride looked beautiful in it, such a gorgeous dress.

Tartiflette is well known here, I like it but OH doesn't. Fattening!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I think it's a legal thing. All property or assets of the company that went bankrupt have to be logged and unfortunately customers property counts as assets. I once near killed my car clearing out a friends tool box from the garage he worked at when rumours went flying that they wereally about to go bankrupt. Had his tools been left inside it would have been a complicated process to get them back - all while he'd have been unable to work.

Glad to hear about the dress, the power of social media found daughter s dog ?

Very cold and snow expected overnight. We are  tucked in with good chums, all the dogs, lots of food and some rather good wine. Who care about the weather?

I read about that dress yesterday. Glad it's been resolved - sort of. The company I bought my dress from went out of business and someone phoned me at work one day to say I had to collect it that morning. I couldn't go so I had to send the future hubby! I don't think he looked ...image

Glad you're tucked up LP. Hope you're feeling more like yourself now - sounds like it  image

I had plenty of good snow today, so it can do what it likes here! The sky was very dark when I got home, and the wind was getting up, but it's just wet and around 2 degrees. I have my feet up, but I should get something to eat before I go and collect daughter from work at the back of nine image

Enjoy your new car BL. I'm sure your mum would be only too happy to see you in a nice new one  image

Never had tartiflette. I didn't get a figure like this eating tartiflette you know....image

Mind you - I'm about to stick a pizza in the oven to share with youngest. She's just a slip of a thing - could probably eat three tartiflettes and not look any different...image

    Hi all.

You are making me hungry, we are a bit slow tonight, still deciding who will cook. I am playing the injures soldier part, she is saying I seemed to move ok. during the rugby. Strange thing is we both like cooking.

Tartiflette used to be one of the great joys of skiing holidays.
