Just what I need chicky - after dealing with a very rude, sarcastic woman on the phone at work. What the **** is wrong with some people?
Good job daughter has got the meatballs on for tea. I need some comfort food after doing the supermarket shopping after work too. I'm well scunnered
Glad you had a good time T'bird - I was wondering whereabouts you were, what with the new snowfalls over the weekend etc. North east has had a lot more, but there's a fair bit everywhere down the west, and even at fairly low level. We've had snow/sleet all day here, although nothing lying. Supposed to be a bit tonight though.
I needed a bit of maths to work out sizes for building things, and for the amount of timber I needed for all the fence in the garden doc, does that count? 'Does that count'...d'you see what I did there....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Evening folks, Chicky, happy Eighteenth to Chicklet! Wow what a fantabulous cake!
Hope the lurgy takes flight soon Pdoc
Hello to Lirio, Lillyp, Yvie, Lesley and Joyce ive been popping in and catching up with news...nice to see you about
Welcome back Topbird, sounds like my kind of holiday, hope you had a lovely time.
Dove, hope your on the mend and not going to try and overdo it this time...I believe a certain womble has a jumper that isn't going to knit itself, so you best stay on that sofa!
Hope you have enjoyed your working holiday in the garden Hosta
Going to slob with a cuppa before making sausage and fried onion and cheese baguette hotdogs for supper....I'm sure its a health food in America Enjoy the meatballs Fairy and the fact someone else is cooking them....bliss!
Another out-all-day day, if you see what I mean. Art this morning, spiders this afternoon (at U3A natural history group), followed by shopping and housework. Busy but happy.
Many happy returns to Chicklet; yummy-looking cake, Chicky!
Beautiful snowdrops, Lily P. Mine are just beginning to open.
Hope the muzzy head eases soon, Obelixx. Maybe you're fighting off some germs...
Really enjoyed the channel 5 programme this evening about a year around Loch Lomond. Lovely to see ospreys, red kites and golden eagles increasing as people understand better how to live side by side with them.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Right, who passed their cold on to me?!!?! Can't believe it, so far this year I have had the dreaded fluey lurgy for about 3 weeks (plus nearly a week of last year), followed by a v painful UTI ('scuse me) and now I'm getting a cold - grrrrr. Actually I feel fine with it - just sneezing and blowing my nose lots, so not too bothered - but grrrr.
In other news, I have blocked up one of the many holes where the foxes come in and out of the garden. Not in the hope of keeping them out - they leap the fences anyway - but of making it a little less relaxing for them so hopefully they'll have less inclination to poo on everything, kill the grass and dig everything up.
Happy birthday to Chicklet, and what an awesome cake!
Wishing health to the sickly, rain to the droughty, warmth to the chilly and a soft breeze to the sweaty. Plus clear skies and spring to everyone.

Very naughty looking cake Chicky. Yum! Happy birthday Chicklet.
I need to find a new weather forecast. This one has been promising me bucket loads of rain which doesn't arrive. I need something a bit accurate.
Pdoc - I would say plants are the basis of everything from basic life to great pleasure.

Wonky your supper sounds my favourite, but I do like meatballs too..........
