Mild again this morning and dry at last.  I should get some time in the garden today.  Getting stir crazy not being able to get out!

  • Morning Marion , know what you mean about getting stir crazy - been on crutches for almost five wks now, still two more to go. Just back in after a 'hobble' around the garden..........lots of plants / bulbs emerging...yay! Brings a smile to my face image

Have a good day, enjoy your garden time.

What a difference an hour in the garden can make to your mood!  Sorry to hear you have been in the wars Flowers in the Rain.  I hope the next two weeks pass quickly for you.

  • Glad to hear that you are feeling brighter Marion, gardening is a great tonic.

Yes I'm sure the next two weeks will fly by, then a month of gentle walking  and then I'll be as good as new .....well almost!

A mild 11 degrees this morning but all downhill from now.  Yellow met office warning for snow in Bristol tomorrow!  Glad I worked hard in the garden yesterday.  I may get a bit done today.

Good morning , we have a yellow warning for snow on Friday / Saturday

Got 2 gooseberry bushes to plant for next door , he had a new knee and is not very mobile at moment

Just spotted snow dropes pushing through soil the other day went filled up bird feeders image

.  I must take the camera up the garden.  The catkins and snowdrops are out in force. Worked myself to a standstill so in for coffee.

I didn't get as far as the snowdrops before an icy cold wind sent me back home.  but the hellebores are flowering and the catkins and variegated leaves are making a beautiful display this January.
