Welcome back Yvie - was wondering where you had been. well done on shedding those lbs - especially with Christmas in the middle !
Just home from another brill walk - Mr C has discovered a website with instructions for walks. They are pretty foolproof, and are allowing us to discover all sorts of places we have never been before. 9 1/2 miles today - tootsies tired now . Got back to the car just as the sun was setting - there was even a bench to sit on as we watched it sink below the horizon
Are they walks just in your area, Chicky, or are they all over the UK? Do you have the website address please? We have been looking for walks in Norfolk. I bought a couple of books of walks and we've started to try them, but I didn't feel up to it in January. But 9 1/2 miles is a bit far for us. We are 27 (or a little bit more!) so 4 - 5 miles is more our thing.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good evening everybody , had an exciting day been to watch Lincoln City at home ( a non league team ) beat Brighton who are Champion League leaders , amazing
Fantastic win GWRS ⚽️⚽️⚽️.....what a run they are having
Just checked the walk website Lizzie, but it only covers the southeast (fancy free walks if anyone in this neck of the woods is interested). However, i'd be surprised if there wasn't something similar near you ...walkers love to share, and t'internet makes it so easy.

Well done Yvie, you must have been eating less too. That's the bit I find hard.
Have done dusting, now making marmalade.
Hi BL, not eating less just eating different things. Have cut out the chocolate, cakes and biscuits.

Great win GWRS, slightly better than our streaky 4-3, with the last kick of the game.
Sadly don't go that often now.
