My birds can have some sunflower seed and like it. Not sure I would like those hanging around.

House seemed cold and no hot water. Boiler has gone out. Hubby is in Ireland all week.  The boiler is in the old coalhouse, only access is from outside, so I moved the car and stared at it. It has a big button that says "RESET"  So I pressed it twice (once for good luck). The radiators seem to be warming up now. Sorted  Who needs a man for these technical things ?

Well the wind has been proving damaging: and not just to my compost bin that has relocated itself.

Waited an hour for my school to arrive (its not uncommon for them to be quite late when the weather is bad) to then call the school to see if they could let me know of their whereabouts.. oh they're safely tucked up in the classroom. Seems they cancelled and the message didn't get to me. Still for the best it really wasn't safe to be out in a big vehicle today.

Felt very sore and achy this morning. I thought it a mix of my spinal injury flaring due to the weather with a splash of ones lady bits so very clearly announcing that YOU'RE MOST DEFINITELY NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT PREGNANT. Made it til midday before calling quits and deciding to come and work from home as my head felt like it was in a vice. It is now rapidly turning into epic snot fest. I have 120 more children visiting this week, over 300 next week. There is no back up plan if I can't teach them.

Lemsip, many blankets, hot water bottle. Rest rest rest!

Clari - if that's you having the lurgy, the visits can be cancelled. The sensible thing is to look after yourself and not spread the lurgy.

The wind died down for a bit, the sun appeared in a blue sky and I got two hours power washing done.

If you have got the lurgy Clari - sharing it with 400 children doesn't sound like a good plan...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Children are probably responsible for Clari getting the lurgy image Working with children carries risks!!!image
