I need a PC doctor.  Cosmos has bounced on my keyboard and the screen display is now upside down and the mouse is disoriented!   Can't see an easy fix and OH will be grumpy when I ask him to fix it.

Good luck with the onions Dove.  Don't like them myself - too vinegary - and I haven't yet found a recipe for pickling them the way the Italians do, sort of sweet and sour using small red onions.

    Hi allimage

Obelixx I just told OH about your computer and he suggests pressing control, alt and up arrow keys simultaneously which should change the orientation.  Good luck.

Sorry I've been absent for a while too.  Will try to get. Ack into the swing of things but perhaps I need a light box as wellimage.

Dove, thanks for mentioning pickled onions.  They are about to go onto my ever expanding shopping list.image

Thanks Lesley.  I'd tried ctrl and alt with up key but not all at once.  OH fixed it when he got in.

    Afternoon all.

I'm not sure its going to bother getting light here, everywhere I look seems.. grey and meh. Never mind: at least it is warmer!

Desperately spending my lunch time on the hunt for ideas for Christmas gifts. I've decided that next year I'm going to visit everyone homes and break a few things so they'll need new!!

Home alone on Saturday so I have made plans to prune the p'apple tree (when we moved in the previous owners harked about what a wonderful apple tree this was and what brilliant fruit it gave... trouble is every year since it has only given us pears! We've always referred to it as the p'apple tree) and possibly the wisteria (neighbours young boy doesn't seem to climb on the outbuilding now its wet and slippery so I feel a bit more confident about removing the worse of the bushing that cushions his leaning over the edge). I just hope the weather is nice its been ages since I've been able to potter in the garden what with all the house demolition going on. Maybe I'll finally decide where the greenhouses are to go! image

While I remember, Hosta, Hubby advises that the show we were watching about Indian Railways is called 'World's Busiest Railway'. You might be able to find it. I think you would enjoy it.

    Now to read back.

er, Dove. What's a sad light? I think I need one as well. These changing weather days are getting to me.  today wasn't hot, in fact I had a flannelette shirt over my t-shirt most of the day, but weather bureau had predicted a big, wet blow with a big drop in temp, so no washing done, but just on dark, there was a very heavy downfall for a few minutes, then nothing and I can see millions of stars out there now.. image can't trust anyone these days! image
