  • That is a lovely picture scroggin, there is something magical about rainbows, and you are lucky to have almost the full arc.  I haven't seen one for a long time - perhaps a year or more.

Lovely pix Liri - probably not a good idea to be out taking photos during the storm anyway! Makes a nice change for kids to see something attractive and interesting on a school walk  image

I love those contrasts Dove. Incredible to think there's a relatively small distance between where you were and where the storm was on the other side.

    Nice rainbow scroggin. image

I caught a lovely  one when I was out one day, but forgot I could have done a panorama to get it all in...  image

  • Lovely to see the "ugly duckling" fast turning into a graceful swan, Joyce.  It looks to have been a beautiful day, too.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Lovely photos Joyce. The duck house is interesting. I’ve never seen one before.

Lovely pix Joyce. I always smile when I see cormorants sitting somewhere in the middle of a stretch of water. They're one of those birds that get little admiration, but I think they're stunning  image

Didn't get many pix last weekend, although I could have taken plenty of cars, ambulances and the sky gradually darkening...image

The view back down Loch Leven is always terrific

    image

and Sgurr Eilde Mor is grand when it comes fully into view as you arrive at it's main lochan

A hundred feet or so further along the lower slopes of Sgurr Eilde Beag, and the two Binneins (my last outing in early October) appear.

They look best when viewed from Sgurr Eilde Mor though (pic taken just over  a year ago)

    Fingers crossed for this weekend.....image

Fairy, one of the best views I've seen looking down Loch Leven since I was last there many moons agoimage  A friend used to live in Kinlochleven and we would take to the hills.
