Lovely Pat. Someone was getting some rain in that second one!

Hope the weather's favourable for you scroggin. I hate to say it, but it was far too hot on Friday - lower down - even at that time of day. Fortunately, that doesn't happen too often  image

All the little orchids and wildflowers are appearing now too. They have a wonderful backdrop of the north east crags behind them

Loved that little frog and the violet.

Heres some from today - on the hill behind the house - hence the rocky "ground".image

Interesting sights from your window Pat.  Is that frost on the ground?

No Joyce, just our usual messy gravel and natural "rocky ground". she's still there and has moved a bit further over and eating the grass there, she has a bulging pouch that we can now see.

by the way that is my first Jonquil for the season, I only saw it today and nabbed it for the vase.image

I saw these last year at GW live show and fell in love with them. Really small flowers with different coloured centers.

A lovely alpine  the simplicity  of the flowers is what attracted me. .

  • Those flowers are gorgeous Iamweedy, they look almost waxy.  Are they difficult to germinate and are the seeds readily available?

I dont know I bought the plants last year.  I will try some but me and seeds don't get along.

I guess it might be best to propogate from rooting the rosettes.
